Educational Qualification: 
The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

Age Limit: 
All the desired candidates for this post must fall under the age limit of 18 Years to 27 Years to apply as on 01.01.2018.

Selection Procedure:
The selection process by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board is transparent and purely merit-based. Job candidates initially to be called for the Physical Standard Test (PST), PET, Written Examination, Interview & Medical Test stages tentatively. 

PHYSICAL STANDARDS: 
(i) Height — 167 cms (160 cms for Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes)
(ii) Chest (unexpanded/expanded) — 78cms/ 83cms (76cms/ 81 cms for Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes)

Pay scale:
Candidates who successfully qualified the recruitment process will get hired for the post of Lady Constable with a scale of Rs.5, 400 – 25,200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2, 600/-.
