Check the latest University Ranking 2018 which has released by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) department of the Government of India. As per the latest ranking list, IISc Bangalore Gets First Rank in India, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi get the second rank and Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi gets the third rank University in India. It is really a proud moment for the Indian education sector as now, for the second time, an Indian university “Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore” has featured in the list of top 10 universities of the world.
National Institutional Ranking Framework was launched in 2016, and it has been organized by the MHRD and commenced by Honourable Minister for HRD that is Human Resource Development.
To rank the institutions the criteria which were concerned was integrated with teaching/ or learning from resources, or by researching graduation outcomes (employability), outreach/ social and gender inclusivity and awareness in terms of wide education.
